Acro Venture is an acrobatic duo of a flier who flips through air while being held up by the base. We both stilt walk and fire dance. We also balance on a slackline similar to a tight rope.
I hired Kira as a fire dancer with acrobatic elements. She was amazing! Very professional and clear communicator. The client was very happy with the performance!! I'd recommend Kira for any future event entertainment.
From the first time I've worked with Kira she has exceeded all my expectations. She is kind, patient, and loves to teach. This shows in the way she presents the material. If you are lucky enough to be trained by her don't miss the opportunity.
Response from Acro Venture:
Awe thank you so much Luke! I love having you in class and I loved the photo and video shoot we did together!!!
Kira always shows up on time and well prepared and sober. As an entertainer, she learns death defying tricks on the regular and it scares the shit out of me. I have sweaty palms. But she's good at what she does!
Response from Acro Venture:
Thank you Samuel :) It's been a blast performing for your events!

What to Expect
AcroVenture specilizes in stage performances between 3-6 minutes long. It's best to have lighting so that the audience can see us but does not blind us as performers. It helps if there is some kind of introduction to our act to draw the crowds attention. Since our high level of acrobatics is very taxing, we cannot sustain too long of a performance. If you want an ambient performance for longer than 6 minutes then we would decrease the skill level and speed of our tricks in order to perform for up to 15 minutes straight. We can do 2 sets easily and up to 3 with at least 20 minutes rest in between.
It's best if we have the ability to play music to accompany our performance.
AcroVenture is a partner acrobatic duo consisting of Kira Krick as the flyer and Brian Theer as the base. Brian lifts Kira into the air in many different poses, flips, and tricks that are sure to delight an audience.
Kira has been a gymnast since she was 5 years old and started doing partner acrobatics 5 years ago. Kira is also skilled in other circus arts including: Aerial Silks, Stilt Walking, Slacklining, Hand Balancing, Fire Dancing, Hula Hooping, and Spinning Poi. She's been teaching others her movement art for 3 years including classes on: Dance Acrobatics, Handstands, Aerial Silks, Slack Lining, AcroYoga, and Thai Massage.
Brian has a history of being athletic with hockey, golfing, and snowboarding. He is a social worker and therapist by day. He's been training, performing, and instructing with Kira for almost 2 years now. He's skilled in other circus arts including: Stilt Walking, Fire Dancing, and Juggling.
Additional Booking Notes
Lighting- It's best if we are well lit without blinding us as performers.
Staging- Minimum is 12 feet wide and 6 feet deep for the stage that is best to be raised so that the audience can see us better. It is possible for us to perform on the ground level but it might be harder for people to see all of our act.
Sound- We have music to accompany our stage acts, but not our ambient acts.

Influences & Inspiration
I love watching Cirque Du Soliel and the creativity that they put into their acts. Seven Fingers also is a fantastic acrobatic group.
I learned a lot from my teacher training with Partner Acrobatics with multiple international teachers including Dutch Acro. Twice a year, Brian and I both go to AcroLove Festival in order to further our skills as acrobatics.
Trishna Murti taught me a lot about fire dancing and safety.
Jessica Packard has taught me a lot about hula hooping and performance.
Holly has taught me a lot of aerial silks.
