We are so very excited to see you are interested in our services of creating mermaid dreams come true. The Acadiana Merfolk is a talented group of merpeople who use mermaiding to bring happiness, excitement and overall a one of a kind experience. The pod has taken such time to earn certifications to make the experience even better! The Acadiana Merfolk is a pod based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Three local mermaids decided to come together and produce a dream-come-true company for us to share the passion of our hobby with you. Our love for mermaiding has taken us on such adventures across the states, which is even more exciting to see you are interested in sharing your time with us at your next event!
As each party differs, I may have a few ongoing questions to help prepare any future booking.

The services we provide include but are not limited to
-1 mermaid (merman per request) to give the dazzling experience of what us merfolk are truly about, causing people to smile!
- 1 mer-tender to help create an easy-breeze party for the (link hidden)is is also for our mermaid safety.

Packages that include 2+ mermaids have different package prices. We can provide up to 5 mermaids at a time.We have different packages to help suit each party- everyone is different and has different needs!
Our service price depends on the amount of guests,distance and time of performance.
For anyone who is over 85 miles from the Baton Rouge- area

What to look forward to?
The service will come with a wagon-wheeled entrance per location permitting. We of course keep the magic going with never presenting human legs. Please let us know if this is not available. All of our mermaids have previous showcase experience with drama/acting giving an advantage with experience in making others smile! We can accommodate any type of age or event! Our crowd is open for everyone. Our mer-sonas, as we call it, are all unique yet may even be a tad educational.
Each mermaid is to perform a minimum 60 minutes and arrive at minimum 15 minutes early. Each mermaid can work a maximum of four hours.
All of the equipment used is realistic material that supports comfortable swimming for the long term. All of our mermaids that are swimming have passed the PADI mermaid and free dive course.
Wet gigs are usually based around water the entire time.

*swim through our hula-hoop

And overall learn how to become a mermaid!

Dry gigs will include more fun to full-fill what is missed in wet gigs!
* Glitter tattoos if location allows.
* Face painting if location allows.
* Dance Parties.
*Hair braiding.
*Sanitary make up & nail polish.
*Bubble party
* Sea shell & shark tooth sharing.
* Games

Either the birthday person or person responsible for booking is given a special gift to remember this magical event. Please note a few favorite's in the message! We come with real seashells and shark teeth to share with guests.

Swim with our mermaids as we sail the sea’s and look for da blooms! Pool is to be provided and booked by the parent or host. Please be sure to check with public facilities for mermaid approval, if the facility is to discharge the mermaid from being able to perform, the deposit is not refundable. If you are not sure about this, we ask for the facilities number to check. Some locations do not allow mermaids for safety concerns.
Please note if this is a dry or wet gig. If needing a pool for the event, ask about our packages with our partnered dive shop in the Baton Rouge area.
