Acro Abbie

I bring a variety of skills as a movement artist in contemporary circus. My professional skills are diverse in aerial, ground acrobatics, fire performance, dance, acting, and singing. My acts/skills include but are not limited to: hand balance on canes, aerial fabric, dance trapeze, static trapeze, duo static trapeze, aerial hoop (lyra), corde’ lisse’ (rope), rhythmic hoop, adagio (hand to hand), double fire staffs/fire eating, and contortion/acrobatics. Abbie is a performer and teacher in many disciplines. She has a lifetime of experience in gymnastics and dance. She grew up in Kansas City and began her professional performing career with two well known KC ensembles: Quixotic Fusion and MoonDrop Circus. Abbie then attended Frequent Flyers Productions to complete the Professional Aerial Dance Track in Boulder, Colorado. In the air, she will fly by on several apparatus: trapeze, lyra, tissue (silks), and corde lisse, (rope). On the ground she is a hand balancer/contortionist, fire performer, and acrobatic dancer. Abbie dances on stages all over the country: at casinos, music festivals, opera houses, parades, corporate events and more. Abbie currently is the female Aerial Trainer/Choreographer for Carnival Cruises' newest (Mardi Gras) ship.

Ground acts need a minimum of 5 X 5 foot space.

Aerial acts need a minimum of 14 vertical feet and 7ft X 7ft ft ground space. I must approve rigging before committing to any event. If the event does not have rig-able points, a portable aerial rig can be rented by the client (requires a minimum 12ft X 12ft space).
