We had Joan come to a bachelorette party for a big group of girls.
While this was a fun idea and some of the girls’ left their readings feeling positive, others girls came out of their reading in tears and feeling sad from what they heard during their reading.
While we understand you can’t change the cards that come up and I know Joan said to “not shoot the messenger” when she introduced herself, however, based off her reviews, it seemed like she would keep it light given the occasion we were celebrating (love, friendship, and happiness).
While we think Joan is talented, we’ve learned our lesson. Just beware of mixing tarot card readings and happy celebrations. Didn’t work out well for us!

I agree. A party should be fun! Your guests were great but as you said, I explained that for a party as large as yours, it’s best to give “mini” readings that highlight important points that the cards want the guest to know or to relay answers to a specific question. I’ve learned how to maximize the advice from the cards so that guests get good guidance to move forward in spite of the short time that I have with them. It’s not wise get too detailed at a party if you want to keep the “vibe” light. You were very specific that you wanted in depth readings even after I gave you a very honest explanation of why it wasn’t a good idea. I take instructions given by a host seriously, and after being told honestly what would likely happen, you were clear that you wanted me to change my reading style to be more like a one on one session and I did so.
I know the cards helped some of your guests to navigate some serious issues so while I don’t regret giving you what you asked for, I think that the take away for me is that it’s not always best to do as you’re told & for you, the old saying “be careful what you ask for” might be something to keep in mind.

Price range: $100- $500

What to expect
Excitement, Anticipation & Fun! Please let me know if you have special requests such as:
1) Attire; You Are The Boss! Let me know if you have costume requirements when you book. My usual attire is “dark business casual” but I’m happy to arrive in “Gypsy or Witch” attire.
2) Prior to arrival: Please let me know who my contact will be at the event: Name & Phone#
3). FYI: I charge a straight hourly rate based on the estimated number of guests but am flexible and do not “punch a clock” or add costs to my service unless an exceptional circumstance arises. Any additional charge would be unusual and would require written approval by both parties.
Most people are surprised at how many of their guests actually want a reading once the party gets started and I will remain at the event until everyone who wants a reading gets one OR for an additional hour over the agreed end time at no extra charge. People get excited when they find out you’ve arranged for them to have a Tarot Reading & it’s important that nobody leaves disappointed.

My Cards talk to me & I relay what they tell me. I spent years learning who the cards are and one day, they started to get to know me by telling me things that changed how I see life.
Seeing the shift in someone’s eyes when they realize that they are not alone in this world because the cards say something that resonates with them is rewarding and after taking a couple of years off to travel after Covid, I’m excited to get back to doing readings that create that experience once again.
What started out as a lark 20 years ago has become my passion.
I’ve come to know that the cards are actually tools used by my guardian spirits to communicate things that used to come naturally to us. They help with insights that we don’t see when the path forward is unsure or when something in the background is important for us to understand. The cards don’t tell the future, they help us know what’s going on now and how it can affect our future. A long time ago we were able to hear our spiritual guides but the world changed and so did we. Tarot is not the darkness. It is the light.

I love teaching beginners the basics of Tarot. I tell people that if you want the cards to talk to you, you have to learn their names and who they are.
