September 19, 2025I am the director of a program that puts on mental health assemblies for middle and high school students. One of the big draws to our events is that we bring a DJ/Rapper who is passionate about mental health. Madigan was introduced to me as a rapper, but was willing to learn the basics of DJ'ing for our assemblies. He has been reliable, easy to communicate with, and most importantly, passionate about speaking truth and love to the youth! Grateful for all he has done for our program!

September 9, 2025Freedom in the Streets had the pleasure of hiring Madigan in October of 2024 for an event we put together called Freedom in the Streets Music with a Message. He blew us away not only through his music but also through his testimony . Madigan is not just a Godly Christian Artist he is a brother, mentor, and has become a friend. I've been blessed to see him in concert multiple times since our event and through social media outlets and he always brings the Truth, Light, and Love that this world lacks. In the heart of Connecticut, amidst the quiet towns and bustling cities, a story of resilience and redemption emerged from the shadows. Born into a world tainted by abuse and hardship, this individual's journey seemed destined for darkness. But against all odds, he found his light.
At the tender age of 16, the weight of his circumstances became unbearable. Homeless and adrift in a sea of uncertainty, he sought solace in the numbing embrace of smoking and drinking. Nights turned into days as he roamed the streets, searching for something, anything, to hold onto.
Yet, amidst the chaos, a flicker of hope remained. A chance encounter led him to the doorstep of a stranger, offering shelter in exchange for fleeting companionship. It was here, amidst the makeshift walls of another's home, that he dared to dream again.
Determined to rewrite his narrative, he set his sights on an unlikely goal: finishing high school. Despite the odds stacked against him, he persevered, graduating as a 5th-year senior. But the echoes of addiction still haunted him, and the specter of homelessness lingered.
A lifeline emerged in the form of an assisted living program in Indiana, where he found more than just a roof over his head. It was here, in the embrace of a supportive community, that he found his faith. With newfound purpose, he embarked on a journey of transformation.
College became his sanctuary, a place of growth and self-discovery. Armed with a relentless determination, he pursued a Bachelor's degree, defying the expectations set by his past. And in the midst of his ascent, love found him, weaving its way into the fabric of his story.
Now, as he stands on the precipice of his dreams, he looks back on a decade spent honing his craft. Songwriting became his lifeline, a vessel for his pain, his hope, and his joy. And at long last, his music resonates beyond the confines of his own heart, breaking through the radio waves and into the homes of listeners around the world.
But amidst the accolades and applause, there is one title that brings him the greatest pride: husband and father. With his beloved wife by his side and their daughter, Baisy, cradled in his arms, he knows that his journey is far from over. For as long as there are stories left to tell and melodies left to sing, his voice will echo across the airwaves, a testament to the power of perseverance, faith, and the enduring resilience of a human that puts their faith in God.
