Overview
A little jazz. A little contemporary. A little band with a lot of groove and swing. We play great songs from the golden age of music, as well as newer classics by artists like Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse. Upon request we also play music from the best Disney movies.
Our beautiful professional female vocalist is accompanied by seasoned professional instrumentalists - the best combination for a wonderful and smooth Live Music experience.
All audio samples were recorded live at rehearsals.

I had the pleasure of getting to experience A. Powell Band live at The Naked Cafe with my wife and some friends! Listening to the music and witnessing their performance just made everyone feel good in their presence. There was a wide variety of jazz music played that had something for everyone. I would recommend this band to anyone and will be going to see them again! Wonderful show!

Heard them play at The Naked Cafe. Great acoustics in there. Such a great assortment of tunes and really enjoyed the skills of each musician, especially the incredible voice of the vocalist. My body was chair dancing all night!

The A. Powell Band consists of professional instrumentalists and one of Edmonton's finest professional female singer. We all share the love for music. Our goal is to provide high quality musical entertainment that will make your special event just a little more special.
Additional booking notes
We provide all sound equipment. Lighting is available for an additional fee.
A lockable 'Green Room' is required for dress changes and keeping garment bags and other band- or personal belongings stored safely. Bottled water and some snacks should be provided by the client.
