Religious Celebration with 1500 guests
Not sure of Prelude yet Amazing Grace arr. Hatfield Postlude—Highland Cathedral We will provide all email as soon as a performer is secured via email PDF.
Hello, My name is John Morrow and I’m the Associate Director of Music at McFarlin Memorial UMC in Norman, OK. We are interested in having a bagpipe player on our All-Saints Sunday at McFarlin this year, to help memorialize and honor all those saints who have gone before us. The person playing would play with organ on at least one piece (Highland Cathedral) and preferably on an opening piece for the service as well as one of the hymns. The primary playing would happen for the anthem, a setting of Amazing Grace for bagpipe, organ, and Chorus (the arrangement was actually used at Sen. John McCain’s service earlier this year. Would you all have anyone available for Sunday, Nov. 4th, 7:30 am to 12 pm? There are two services that morning. We’d also love to have them join us at Rehearsal on Wednesday, October 31, 7:30 PM. Pay is $500 total. Please let me know your availability and I will get music to you and put the name of the player in our order of worship. Thanks so much, and hope to hear from you soon. Best, John M. Morrow Associate Director of Music Ministries and Principal Organist McFarlin Memorial UMC
