Arkansas State Fairgrounds - Doug is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted, professional and responsive person I have ever met. I have worked with many people in music, but Doug is respective and extremely knowledgeable. He was everything that we needed and more. He was patient with our requests on song choices. He worked particularly well with the drummer and singer that he never met before. He made everything blend do well and beautifully. It would be easy to think that he worked with all of us before. He is family to us now and Im forever grateful that he took on such a huge task at the very last minute. Doug is perfect team player for any event. Choose him the first time and there will be smooth sailing!!!

He was early and immediately setup and starting playing for us. He can play anything. His skill at the piano is awesome. This was our second Christmas party with Doug and we loved having him play for us. Would definitely recommend Doug for any party.

We had the privilege of hiring Mr. Doug Lackey to play piano for our Christmas banquet, and he was absolutely outstanding. His instrumental Christmas selections were beautifully played, and set the perfect atmosphere for the evening. He is an incredibly talented musician, and it shows from the moment he sits down at the piano.
Beyond his musicianship, Mr. Lackey was extremely professional and easy to work with. He responded quickly to every message and request, was flexible with our schedule, and did a fantastic job reading the room and adjusting to the crowd. He also has a great singing voice and added even more value to the night.
If you’re on the fence about booking him, don’t hesitate, do it. You won’t regret it. We would gladly work with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for top-tier live music.
