40 Fathoms Band - Private Parties

We play many popular venues in Marin, SF and Peninsula. Our songs are interesting rock covers from the 70s, 80s and 90s - not just any Pink Floyd or Red Hot Chili's song, but the one you weren't expecting. We are tight, well-rehearsed and include audio samples and 3 way harmonies. We love playing private parties and can tailor the event to your liking. We bring our own equipment including PA and lights, as well as our iconic deep sea diving mask with colored lights and fog machine. Depending on timing we can make arrangements to learn a song or two for your event.

We're a marin-based band with great musicianship. Our audience often tell use they're blown away by the setlist we've curated - rock anthem favorites that you don't hear cover bands play every day - epic songs that you want to belt out and pound on the steering wheel when you hear them on the radio in the privacy of your car - songs with groove, great bass lines, tasty guitar parts and memorable vocals. We range from blues, funk, hard rock, psychedelic rock and more. Rob has 20 years experience singing in bands and is a chameleon who can pull off many different styles sang with his own edge. Greg is a pro musician who plays in jazz ensembles, americana, bluegrass bands and is a virtuoso on both electric and standup bass. Devin plays tasty beats and is the percussionist for a (mostly) female indy band as well as 40 Fathoms. Peter has a love and admiration for some of the best blues/rock guitarists like Hendrix and David Gillmour and has the chops to pull off their riffs and solos. As a whole we are equally dedicated to our craft and have formed a brotherhood who all love what we do.
