Our duo is very versatile and was recognized as one of the most versatile stage performers in the cruise line industry. The staff and guests rated this duo at the highest levels of entertainment service provided.
Gloria & Sandy Fernandez, also known as the Island Wave Duo, have been performing for all types of audiences and venues in The San Franciso Bay Area and is currently now relocated to Las Vegas, NV. Gloria & Sandy Fernandez (Island Wave Duo) have performed in Europe, Hawaii, California and Nevada and was last performing in the San Francisco, San Jose and Monterey Bay Area. Previously they performed at the NCO / Officers Clubs in Europe while serving in the US military. They also performed regularly at the John Ascuaga Nugget Trader Dicks Lounge in Sparks NV, as well as other resorts and casinos and private venues at the Atlantis and Peppermill Casino & Resort in Reno, and for large private conventions at the Mirage and Paris casino and resorts in Las Vegas, NV. They also performed at the Club 88 at Cache Creek Casino & Resort. They had multi- year contracts in the club lounges at the Hilton, Double Tree and Fairmont family of hotels in both San Jose and San Francisco, Ca area. Most notably, the duo performed to audiences on the center stage, and night club lounges for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
They were noted as being one of the most versatile stage performers with a wide range of music by the Cruise Line Industry, by their agents, peers and artists alike in the Music Industry. Because of their experience on the cruise lines, their music variety covers a wide range of Big Band, Standards, Smooth Jazz, Latin Pop, Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Top 40’s, club /dance music, county & western, ballroom, and of course both traditional and contemporary Island style music. Both Gloria and Sandy are originally from Hawaii and started their musical career on the Islands.
We have our own high end sound system (QSC) to include microphones, sound boards, speakers with subwoofer, front, back and monitors. Our sound system can be configured for small and or large gatherings, lounges, night clubs, indoor or outdoor, etc. We have our own lighting to include spot lights, stage lights, etc. We also provide a dedicated cordless house microphone for the customer without extra charge.
