2Fifths

We will first meet/call you to get the details of your event; date/time/location, what kind of music/set list, size of venue/sound system, and services needed (band, emcee, DJ). For weddings and corporate events, we will meet with you in person to go over a detailed event timeline and music selection.
We can be as professional or casual as you like, but we are at our best at a casual, fun-loving event. We interact a lot with the audience, and feed on your good vibes.
We like to arrive ~1.5 hours before the event to setup and sound check (for carnivals that provide their own sound system, setup time is reduced to 1/2 hour). We will be packed-up and gone within 1 hour of the end of the event (off the stage in 15 minutes for carnivals).

The current lineup of 2Fifths has been together since late 2004, although the members have been playing together, under various other band names, since as early as 1996. The band members hail from south east LA County and north Orange County, and the band plays all over both LA and Orange counties. 2Fifths plays a fun, diverse mix of rock’n’roll covering 7 decades from the 1950s to the 2010s. The band also has several original songs, ranging from folk to pop to hard rock. And if you have a special song request that’s not in their repertoire, they always like learning new songs. 2Fifths is available for private parties, corporate events, carnivals, weddings, and bars/clubs.

Small sound system (200 Watts, 1 pair 2-way speakers) to Monster sound system (3,000 Watts, 1 pair 3-way speaker, 1 pair sub-woofers, 1 pair monitors), and anything in-between.
Wireless microphone.
Lighting/EFX (optional): spots, strobes, mirror balls, multi-light effects, fog.
Laptop or CD-based DJ.
Music editing capability for custom song mix (e.g. wedding first dance).
