My name is Demetrius Flax. An aspiring poet from Chicago Illinois striving to be the one to influence the lives of those who need it and want it. I have been entered into numerous poetry contest as well as featured on the radio and on television. At a young age I was abandoned by my father so my outlet was poetry. Throughout the time I became very promising in the art. I plan to expand my influence to help all youth as well as anyone else who needs it. The world Is going through a tough time with the killing and destruction. I come in to provide for that. When I am out there speaking and imitating my writing it feels like I'm contributing to something positive. Sonething new. I help make people feel comfortable and free because I provide a safe environment.
Well the most prominent act we have partake in is a peace rally march that was orchestrated by redmoon in Chicago. We went in and we spoke the truth and brought a lot of people with us while we helped clean the street of all the violence. It was beautiful and brought tears to my heart. As we spoke our poetry and influenced the people to a higher level
