About

The genesis of "X Hale" all began with Marion Rutledge and former member Jeff Hand. The two of them started a High Energy Top 40 Country band named "Tytus Hale" back in the mid 90's which rose to high popularity within the Jacksonville, Florida area and today the name "Tytus Hale" is still very well known amongst all their fans. In 2010, "Tytus Hale" decided to change gears and their direction and Marion and Jimmy Lee also decided to change their name to "X Hale". The group also made a decision to add female vocals to the group and then later agreed to add keys. These major changes gave "X Hale" the powerhouse edge that they wanted and a wide world of options when it came to male and female song choices that were easily known amongst all audiences. "X Hale's" range of male and female Top 40 Country songs and their strategic choice of Classic rock/dance tunes always brings and keeps a steady party atmosphere to every venue they perform. As of to date, X Hale as a group, has performed for more than 100 shows and events to include social events, fairs, fund raisers, night clubs and opening for national acts. To keep up this momentum "X Hale" has strongly committed to themselves and to their fans to not become complacent and vows to give 110% to each and every performance and will always strive to stay current with today's Top 40 Country. X Hale also takes pride in having their very own break music DJ. DJ BoyStini is not just a great sound engineer he is also one of the best DJ's in Northeast Florida. His library of music is one of the largest ever. You name it he has it or he can get it on demand. The advantage of having our own DJ allows the party to continue without a moment of dead air.
Venues have consisted of nightclubs, corporate events, and private parties and also opened for several well known national headliners.

Our group is capable of supplying their own sound gear/PA for any size venue or private function. We utilize today’s technology by adding an total IN Ear Monitor system that allows for a quick setup and sound check and eliminates any annoying feedback.
