Overview

Making music from the sound up... Looking for musical variety? Cellist and composer Tom Kersey’s got you covered. Hire him solo or with the elegant and versatile Fibonacci Strings, available as a duo, trio, or full quartet. Want something a little more exotic? Try Harpology, a string trio with harp. Craving groove and grit? Book KELP (from duo to full band), Tom’s ensemble serving up original compositions and jazz standards with spirit and spontaneity. And for something completely different, Tom also performs loop-pedal improvisations, a swirling mix of jazz, rock, ambient, and Indian classical influence that builds from a single line into a whole sonic universe.

Excellent experience

Tom and I communicated the week of our event to make sure we were on the same page. I know he put in effort prior to the party to make sure he had the right kind of music prepared. He showed up right on time, played beautifully and went with the flow of the day. Everything was perfect and he was great to work with. His music was professional, top- tier and really helped make the event a huge success.

Hired as: Cellist

The Ultimate Wedding Trio

Tom and his ensemble played at our wedding in December, performing beautifully during both our ceremony and cocktail hour. From his special rendition of At Last to playing all the hits, Tom was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. He was extremely receptive, and his communication throughout the process was completely on point. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone considering string music for their wedding or any event. Thank you again for making our special occasion truly unforgettable.

Hired as: Cellist, New Age Music, String Trio
