About

I grew up in southwestern Ohio. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I've been a member of the Greater Cincinnati Decorative Artists Club since 1999, and a self-taught painter, crafter and calligrapher. I have painted in various forms for many years so the transition to face painting came naturally. I traveled the world for 18 years with my family until 1991. When my husband retired from the Marine Corps we moved back home to Cincinnati. Among my jobs, I've worked for the American Red Cross in Japan, was a graphic artist in Hawaii, a visual merchandiser in Arizona and an office manager in Cincinnati. A few years ago I became fascinated with face painting during a trip to Disney World. I love painting and being around kids so it was the perfect job! Searching the Internet provided resources for supplies, instructional books, videos and a face painting forum where face painters from around the world discuss this art form. Soon I was hooked and began practicing on relatives, neighbors and anyone I could get my paints on. I believe God has blessed me with everything I need to follow this passion wherever it takes me.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 120 minutes

We love kids and make the face painting experience very personal to each of our little clients. We can improvise any type of design in any color with glitter and gems. Whatever our client want we oblige but reserve the right not to paint anything we regard as offensive. We also provide beautiful, sparkling glitter tattoos and hair beads.

10-08-2011 — Butterfly Ball to Benefit for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Delhi Flower & Garden Center in Liberty Township from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. $20 donation.
10-08-2011 — Sayler Park Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Face painting, crafts, food and lots of fun!
