Who Is Danny G?
Danny G (Danny E. Green, Jr.) was born March 17th, 1983 in Tampa, Florida. At the age of 5, He began establishing his musical abilities. All throughout elementary until high school Danny participated in All County and All County Honors Chorus which has shaped his voice in a tremendous way. Danny began to grow spiritually at the age of 8. He knew that God destined him for ministry.
As the gift began to cultivate into the calling, Danny joined a group called ReQuest of Tampa, Florida (www.myspace.com/requestministries). Within this ministry, many original songs were written by him. A few popular songs that Danny has written are %u201CSo Tired%u201D, %u201CIt%u2019s Okay To Just Be Yourself%u201D, %u201CDeep%u201D, and %u201CTry Jesus%u201D. These songs are testaments of the anointing that rests on Danny G as a Christian and an artist. Danny not only creates music for himself but he has also developed into a great songwriter for playwrights and other artists.
In 2007, Danny teamed with playwright Dwayne Wiggins of Leesburg, Florida (currently residing in Philadelphia, Pa). Danny created the entire musical score for Dwayne Wiggins%u2019 successful play called %u201CMountain High, Valley Low%u201D. Aside from his own personal ventures, Danny is also the Worship Leader at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Oviedo, Florida (www.antioch-mbc.org). This is one gifted mind expressing the Word of God by making his life transparent through the art of music.
