I took my kids to the Balch Springs annual Spring Fling at the Civic Center and I have to say I was very impressed with the variety of reptiles and how calm they were in the midst of the noise of the event. The knowledge these people have about the animals is just amazing and the kids absolutely loved petting each reptile they had ... we even had our picture taken with one... was great fun and I would recommend them to anyone and I hope to see them again at future city events.

A. R. K. is a program created to educate children and adults about reptiles. Our goal is to bring a better understanding of reptiles as pets and to dispel misconceptions that are associated with the reptile kingdom.

We teach children early in life not to fear and to have a healthy understanding and respect for all reptiles.
