Each musician brings experience and talent that is surely unrivaled. With a veteran punk rock vocalist, melodious fiddle player, quick fingered mandolin player, rock bassist, solid drummer and versatile guitarist you will definitely feel the energy in their edgy sound that will leave you wanting more.
This Huntington Beach based band formed in 2008 and has continued to become one of the most sought after Irish bands in Orange County, filling venues both small and large. They have played with an array of other bands and compliment any genre of music that is on the bill. From playing with David Allen Coe at the Coach House, the Young Dubliners at the Galaxy, with Craic Haus at the Juke Joint and TSOL at the Punk Rock Picnic, The Vibrators at the Blue Cafe and The Yeastie Boys at Gallagher’s Pub … there is always a place on any stage for The Galway Hooker Band.
Many have noted The Galway Hooker Band as having a very unique sound. A sound that matches the talents of some of their favorite bands who have influenced them greatly, such as The Pogues, Dropkick Murphy’s and the beloved Flogging Molly.
