The Flying Saucers

A band who makes you look forward to doing an Event!

"The Flying Saucers" arrived in Blowing Rock, NC to play our monthly Concert in the Park seris after being rained out in June as the "The Folsom Prison Gang" with just a few clouds in the sky. So after 30 minutes of playing much to my dismay the sprinkles began to fall but to my relief the audience just opened up the umbrellas and enjoyed the music of "I've Got Sunshine On A Cloudy Day". Unfortunately 20 minutes later the sky let loose and everyone left but the band, after about 10 minutes the rain ended and they continued to play pulling in a few of the old audience and some new audience members. After playing 10 minutes past their contract time they asked could they keep playing to which I answered they could play as long as they wanted to. These guys with their outgoing personalities and easy going manner make doing an event with them wonderful and the reason we are putting them on our list for future events.
