We hired the 1's and 2's for our wedding fall of 2012 and they did an outstanding job. The music was great, performance was great, and they were able to get and keep everyone dancing all night long. It really helped make our wedding played the day we had been hoping for.

Best Band Ever!

The 1's & 2's are a 6 piece Motown/Dance cover band from Ann Arbor, Michigan. We specialize in Weddings and private events. With a variety of services including:
Ceremony classical guitars, piano and flute performing classical symphonic music or requests for the processional and recessional.
Cocktail Hour Jazz Music at a conversation volume while guests enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
Master of Ceremonies duties performed by The 1's & 2's frontman Sean Duffy including announcement of the wedding party upon arrival, announcement of key events throughout the night including special dances, bouquet toss, speeches, etc.
D.J. Services
Microphone rental.
Lighting rental to make the performances stand out visually.
After dinner dance party music. The 1's & 2's specialize in keeping dance floors packed throughout the night. We play Motown hits and popular dance standards from the 60's through today. The 1's & 2's take requests in advance for songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour jazz, special dances, D.J. services and after dinner music.

Clients should expect great communication and extra care during the planning process of any event. We work side by side with you to make sure your event happens exactly as you envisioned it.
Audiences should expect to be thoroughly entertained! The 1's & 2's offer a great variety of music including Motown, Dance, Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Latin. We take requests in advance.
