Style Room is run by Karen Parker O’Brien, a fashion industry professional with endless industry connections (and a knack for helping people shop)! Tours—which will last roughly 3 hours—will address a broad range of items, including handbags, jewelry, accessories, clothing, kidswear, menswear, and much more, and will be organized to best suit the group. Karen Parker O’Brien has been a fashion professional her whole life. From launching two jewelry companies in high school to managing a couture retail store on Madison Avenue to owning her own wholesale multi-line fashion rep showroom, she lives and breathes fashion. When she was president of her wholesale rep company, Karen introduced hundreds of stores to up-and-coming designers from around the globe. She launched numerous brands into companies like Barneys New York and Henri Bendel.

She has coordinated over 150 fashion trade shows, and visited international style cities like Barcelona and Tel Aviv for fashion shows and design meetings. She has also graced the front row at New York Fashion Week.

Karen loves bringing people into her “inner fashion circle” so they can share the excitement of this amazing industry. She has a great eye for style and loves sharing her vision and expertise so people can find exactly what they’re looking for. Karen is based in New York City, which gives her access to some of the best fashion and accessories designers in the world.

The tours are broken down into small groups, where Karen will personally escort you into a private world usually reserved for boutique owners and fashion insiders. "I will bring you into the most amazing showrooms and design studios and help you find exactly what you're looking for!” says Karen. “Shopping should be fun, not stressful, and most importantly, an experience."

Book a Girls Day Out shopping tour, and then do a post-tour "show and tell" over drinks at a cool restaurant/bar. Style Room tours take you into designers' showrooms featuring gorgeous hair accessories, fur, embroidered or beaded wraps, jewelry, handbags and more for your special day. Come alone for the ultimate VIP bride treatment or bring a few of your closest girls.

Bridal Shower or Bachelorette Party
Girls, show the Bride-to-Be a great shopping time! Hit some fabulous showrooms for behind-the-scenes deals on fantastic outfits. Whether shopping for the rehearsal dinner, wedding after-party, or the honeymoon (ooh la la -- we do lingerie too!) everyone will have a blast at a Style Room shopping party. Cupcakes, hors d’oeuvres and drinks can be arranged to keep the mood festive at each stop.

Want a more personalized shopping experience with fashion experts? Book a private VIP tour for yourself (you can bring up to two guests for free – included in the price). Karen and the designers will give you invaluable fashion and styling advice and help you find exactly what you need.
