A husband and wife team with more than 35 years of combined experience in the music and entertainment industry, we have combined our knowledge and experience to create the company Spotlight Sound. We provide affordable DJ services, karaoke hosting, lighting solutions, and sound equipment rentals to the DFW area.
About Us:
Benjamin has been in front of crowds as a musician for 17 years as a singer, guitarist, pianist, and songwriter. He has worked as a professional clown performing singing telegrams, magic and juggling acts, and has participated in elaborate practical jokes. He has won numerous karaoke contests across DFW. He is a guitar instructor, a substitute high school teacher, and works with children part-time at a local recreation center.
Jessica has more than 18 years of experience in the music industry. She is an accomplished, award-winning clarinetist and former drum major for the TCU Horned Frog marching band. She has performed all over DFW in a rock band and is a singer/dancer with the Rich-Tone Chorus, a 5-time international champion women’s barbershop group. She has taken the stage across America, Canada, and Europe, and currently sings baritone in an award-winning quartet. She has served as an emcee and toastmaster for major public events, and has made character appearances at children’s parties.

Two 15" Behringer active PA speakers
One 18" powered Behringer subwoofer speaker
Mackie 16-channel mixer
Shure microphones
T-bar light stand with LED/laser sound-activated lights
Fog machine to enhance laser light effects

Set/Song/Sequence List:
Spotlight Sound has a catalog of over 15,000 songs, ranging from the 1920's to modern hits, and spanning across all genres. Have something specific in mind for your event? If we don't have it, we'll get it. Never want to hear "The Chicken Dance" again for as long as you live? We'll create a "Do Not Play" list for your event to be sure you're happy with the selections. At Spotlight Sound, it isn't about playing music WE like - it's about playing what YOU want.
