Last night I was having drinks at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City. They had an unusual group there that night - a rock group that played completely instrumentally - no singers at all. It was perfect - fun but not too loud or intrusive. A very refreshing change from the usual jazz you hear at these places. We took their card because they were excellent, and that is when we discovered they were from Rossi Music. The band is called Avalon and you can see them there on tuesday nights
