About

Someone once told me "You have to look within yourself to find your passion. If you get lost--check there." I have always done that. I look within myself and to the eyes and faces of the people around me. My heart and passion lies in capturing those emotions with my camera and then sharing those moments so others can hold onto them. I started my work with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati's Design, Architecture, Art and Planning school in 1997. Immediately after graduating, I trained with several Cincinnati area Wedding Photography studios perfecting my skills. In 2004, after the birth of my son, I decided it was time to use what I had learned and give Cincinnati couples the kind of Wedding experience they were looking for. I was awarded my Masters in Photography with the Professional Photographers of America in 2008 and belong to a number of Professional organizations.

From all that I have observed, the secret to beautiful wedding and child portraits is to become part of the background. To get comfortable with the subject and watch for the tender and quiet moments of the day to unfold. Those memories become the most precious and beautiful reminders of the human experience. My work speaks for itself. I like the people I work with and am flexible. I am willing to try any location or shot if it fits with the personality and flavor of your life. Let me tell your story
