Peoples String Trio was formed in 2006 to provide an elegant backdrop of live music for special events. Trio members are part of the Music Staff at Peoples Church (Fresno, California) and play each week in that venue. However, their credentials are much broader than the instruments they play...

Susan Crabtree (violinist) earned her BA in Church Music in 1979. She toured throughout the U.S. and overseas with Celebrant Singers (a music and missions organization based in Visalia, California) from 1979-1982. Since settling in Fresno, she has taught private piano for hundreds of students. Currently, she teaches at Peoples School of Creative Arts and directs Joyful Noise Children’s Choir at Peoples Church.

Licia Clark (violinist / violist) was a student at University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music and CSUF. A Fresno native, she has played in several orchestras, including the Fresno Philharmonic and Stockton Symphony. Licia also performed for six years with Celebrant Singers and Eurasia Teen Challenge. Currently, she is director of Peoples School of Creative Arts, teaches privately, and conducts several home school choirs and a community chorus.

David Schubert (cellist) is the Assistant Minister through Music at Peoples Church. He brings a BA in Education along with more than two decades of performing experience to the group. Prior to joining the PC staff in 1999, he was a music director for Celebrant Singers from 1984-1998. Currently, he leads worship in services, conducts vocal and instrumental groups, and arranges for the church and trio.
