New Spirit Quartet

About

The New Spirit Quartet springs to life as they sketch a path that reveals the core of the Gospel word. Each member of the ministry believes that "to be led by the spirit is the desire." This foursome has performed for many years and now they wish to branch out towards a new endeavor guided by the Lord's hand. The members show their faith through perseverence as they say "the Lord will guide us in the direction that he knows is best for our gospel music ministry."

The power of New Spirit Quartet consists of four divinely supreme and influential voices. Tom Powers, who focuses his talents on singing the baritone and some lead parts, is the manager of the group. Jim Vance, of Littlestown, very professionally switches between the Lead and Tenor parts for the Quartet. Julie Sloan, does a Great job singing the Alto/Tenor parts and Dan Mickey adds depth to NSQ as he sings the Bass part. Each member has performed with other groups and followed their own solo careers. Through searching and guidance they have formed "New Spirit" as an ultimate opportunity to minister. They say, "No matter how large or small your church or concert may be, there are lost souls there that need to hear the Word of God."

New Spirit revolves around the unchanging philosophy that, "Christ has truly blessed and changed our personal lives and can change the lives of anyone that receives Him into their heart." With this new found sense, they hope that churches and organizations will invite them to perform for a concert, church service or any venue that requires a "Southern Gospel Music Ministry".
