Through her book and her website, the author, Melissa Rich, is pleased to help others achieve success from their Virtual Home Offices. Melissa's book was published in February of 2010 and was developed to help readers achieve your goal of working from a virtual home office. There are opportunities, but you need knowledge and industry insight to succeed. You can work part time, full time, or even establish a business, but you must first be able to navigate the pitfalls of the industry armed with information. Melissa understands the unique challenges of working from home and is able to provide consise information regarding how to prepare and succeed.

Rich has more than 20 years of business experience including accounting, management, operations, sales and marketing and has successfully worked from home for over ten years. She understands the unique challenges and pitfalls of the work-at-home industry and shares her knowledge and insight.

Rich Also provides training programs for businesses that are managing a team of virtual employees or contractors. Melissa believes that managing virtual employees and contractors presents unique challenges since you have little control over the home office environment and the distractions from a home office.

The Kansas Department of Commerce awarded Rich the 2007 Women Owned Business of the Year – Service Industry Firm. She competed with businesses from across the state to earn this prestigious award, without leaving her virtual home office!

Melissa has worked from home for over ten years and ran several successful business ventures. In February of 2010, Melissa's book was published. It is titled Your Virtual Home Office Can Be a Reality! Melissa was motivated to write the book knowing that so many people wish to work from home, but are not certain how to achieve that goal.
