Matt Walch is an exceptional singer from Michigan, performing throughout the country, including Bal Harbour, Florida; Scottsdale, Palm Springs, and Martha's Vineyard. His music consists of the classic standards recorded by Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Elvis, Bobby Darin, and other greats, sounding so close to the original, audiences often wonder if he's actually singing.
In September 2008, Matt performed with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, conducted by the great Buddy Morrow! Matt has opened for the Glenn Miller Orchestra, played the lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and was a featured dancer and soloist for two years in the jazz show choir, Starfleet Ambassadors. Matt has also appeared on the Bart Hawley show, part of a Jackson based cable station several times.
For over ten years Matt has been performing for company parties, Anniversaries, Weddings and Receptions - "a perfect blend for coctail and dinner hour", Birthdays, Festivals, Holiday shows, and Dinner entertainment at fine restaurants.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 15 - 360 minutes

Matt's performance type varies depending on what his client is after. It can be a show from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours long that includes some audience participation and a bit of comedy, or it can be just a nice selection of songs for listening enjoyment while dining, mingling, or dancing. Whatever the performance type is, you can be assured Matt will exceed your expectations and have your guests asking where you found him!

Additional Notes:
Matt Walch provides a great sound system properly sized for each venue. You can expect to hear many compliments on the quality of sound. The only thing that is required from Matt is a nearby outlet to plug into. Since venue sizes can vary greatly, so do the setups Matt can use. For a very small venue, Matt can squeeze into a tight spot with a compact high end sound system and still sound great. Whatever the setup may be, you can expect Matt to arrive early and be ready before guests arrive.
