I have played cover gigs in Texas since the late 70's. I studied classical piano at U.T. Austin in the 80's. I can fit into any blues, rock or country gig out there. I can provide instrumental piano music suitable for weddings, dinners, receptions or any event where good piano music is desired. Styles range from Classical to Pop and rock to jazz and blues. I'm as likely to play Bach's Prelude in C major as I am to cover T Bone Walker's "Stormy Monday." If you need a full band, I can provide that as well with a great variety from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. I also teach piano, guitar and drum lessons in the Austin area.
Birthday Party for Wife - Great time and great musician
My wife plays the piano and loves to go to a piano bar. So for her birthday I booked Mark to bring the piano bar to the house. It was a great time and Mark was fantastic. He could play almost anything and the one time I thought we had him stumped we played him a short clip, he proceeded to play the entire song. I was truly impressed. His rate was extremely reasonable. Outside of being professional and a great musician Mark is also just a really nice guy and fit in with the crowd really well. I think Mark had fun at the party with us and a week later the party is still the talk of the neighborhood. Thanks for a great time.
