Why hire Lucia Palmieri?

Professional, unique, & captivating, Lucia Palmieri is a Julliard trained soprano who has sung internationally after her critically renowned debut at Carnegie Hall. She has since performed multiple roles in the New York City area including the 9th Avenue Street festival, The New York Public Library, and has had leading rolls in the Central Park Summer Series since 2006. Born in Westport CT, Lucia specializes in Italian and Latin songs. She has access to a full orchestra but is equally comfortable and confident singing along with prerecorded tracks. The New York Times and the Italian Voice gave her rave reviews - she is easy to work with and has a voice that would make the angels weep.

Wedding CeremonyMy spouse and I hired Lucia back in October to coordinate and perform at our wedding.

We were delighted with her expertise, attention to detail and her professionalism. Not to mention, her voice was like nothing we've heard before - only in movies!

She is fabulous and my brother wants to fly her down to Tennessee for his wedding!

We can't wait to see you again!

FundraiserI recently MC'd a charity fundraiser event at which Lucia shared her vocal talents with us... I was standing in the wings as she delivered three short operatic pieces with a non-opera audience. I was impressed with her ability to connect with the audience as she introduced each piece and brought beautiful opera to people who most likely had little or no experience with the genre. I count myself among this group, yet Lucia's powerful delivery moved me unexpectedly. She was very easy to work with, very approachable, and did a great service to the opera world at our event !
