Good afternoon,
I just got engaged this past Saturday and have jumped right into the fun time of wedding planning! When thinking about music at the reception, I immediately knew that I wanted to reach out to you about doing the music. A few years ago, I went to one of my friend's wedding that you played at. After experiencing your music at her wedding, I knew that if and when I ever got married that I would want to see if you could play at my reception. The wedding date is August 3rd, 2013 in Augusta, GA. Would you be interested in playing at the reception? Is there any information that you would like to send to me? Please let me know if you would like to further discuss this or if you must decline. Also, if you are interested in playing at my reception, please let me know how much you anticipate that it will cost.

We filmed Candace and Caleb's wedding on May 27th at the Walden Club. We had worked with you guys before and you never cease to entertain! You are definitely on a very short list of our favorite bands to work with!! You always keep the party going and no one ever leaves the wedding without a smile on their face. Thank you for all of your hard work. It definitely gives us a lot of great footage. :)

UTC Holds African American Alumni Achievement Dinner

As part of UTC’s 125th anniversary and UT’s 50th anniversary of desegregation, UTC recognized several individuals for their achievements and contributions to the community and society with the UTC African American Alumni Achievement at the Bessie Smith Hall.

—Valitus Edwards Sr., '74 & '94, retired EPB administrator and educator; and
—Kenneth Parks, '76, French & Spanish teacher at Baylor School.

Edwards and Parks are part of Love, Peace and Happiness, a popular band. Their CD “We Won’t Stop Until We Get to the Top” was used by the National Network of Partnership Schools as a Best Practice to encourage student achievement nationwide.

Thank you so much for the great job Love, Peace, and Happiness did for our wedding. We had such a great time and the guests have talked non-stop about the great time they had too. Steven's godfather wants to hire you all for one of their upcoming events because he enjoyed you so much. One of my friends said he had never seen so many people get out on the dance floor so fast at a wedding.

I am a teacher at Kaahumanu Elementary School in Honolulu, Hawaii. I found an article about your test motivation song, "We Won't Stop (Until We Get to the Top)" online and was wondering if I would still be able to order this song on CD.

Our school is looking towards creating a test-ready campaign to get our students motivated about the test and by the description in the article, it sounded like your song would be a great motivator!

Dear Friend:

Your special event needs to be fun, but it must also be done in good taste, with class, and with variety. Love, Peace & Happiness has the years of experience necessary to make your event flow at the perfect pace.

The pricing is based upon the band arriving 2 hours prior to the event and having access to the performance area for set-up and sound-check until 30 minutes before show-time.

The rate covers travel, lodging, lighting, sound system, equipment technicians, and musicians pay. The client will provide a pre-meal for the band, access to food and drinks, and a place to dress and take breaks.

The time period starts the moment the doors are opened for the event. A twenty-percent (20%) deposit and signed performance agreement will guarantee the date for you and the band will turn down all other offers for your date, no matter what.

Our band books as far as 12-14 months in advance so we have to book by first-come-first-served basis. We honor the first deposit check and signed performance agreement we receive for a particular date and time-slot. The balance is due the day of the performance.

All special requested songs, that are not on our song list, must be communicated to us a minimum of 30 days before the event.

We take pride in our work, value our professional reputation, and will discuss your song requests, ideas, concerns and questions in order to make your event a complete success.
