About

We are a group of young musicians and our music is compared to Pillar jamming with Natalie Grant doing vocals. Our sound is heart pumping as well as angelic. We write our own music and also play some cover songs for the groups mentioned. We are anxious and eager to minister to the youth and ROCK FOR THE KING!

As a young group for over 5 years, we called ourselves Spoken For. We have played as many as 23 shows a year for local youth groups, city functions and showcases. Our music grew as did the band family. We were asked to play a Band With A Mission showcase in Nashville, TN early in 2011 which opened a door we have dreamed of knocking on for a very long time. We signed with PopGun Productions and began our new journey. Being a new band family, we renamed our group "KINDRED". Our new music is a bit more rock and vocals are amazing. Joey Cefalu, our lead guitarist, can riff with the best as well as singing backup. His talents are often compared to that of Joe Satriani. Joey's guitar abilities are jaw dropping. Drummer Jacob Hines will astound you with his double bass abilities, showmanship and technique. He has many extreme drummer followers and you will not be able to help becoming one of them. Dustin Herres, bass and keyboardist, will keep your eye as he does slap bass then jump right in on keys. He is like watching two people in one. What makes this band stand out and brings it all together are the vocals of Erica Evans. She is ALWAYS compared to Natalie Grant but rocks it out like Superchick.

Influences

We have seen first hand and played music with some big name bands and it always inspires us to see the Word flow through the audiences heart. We want to be a part of that ministry.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 45 - 120 minutes

Kindred brings audiences out of their chairs and on their feet. The music, lighting and Christian Rock atmosphere leaves the audience excited and ready to meet the world in a whole new light. Even the elderly experience severe head bobbing during a Kindred show. Each band member will astound you with their talents as well as touch your heart with their message of Christ.

Additional Notes:
STAGE - 20' X 30' (typical stage size) complete with a
backstage area (a place to eat, prepare and pray), entrances,
and a drum riser (typically 8' X 8'). We are willing to try to make any
stage work.
SOUND (usually supplied by Kindred)- 16-24 channel mixing board
complete with graphic EQ, effects processor and capable of a minimum
of 5 monitor mixes. Enough amps (including subwoofers) to satisfy room
sound needs (no less than 2000 watts of power). Microphones which
include a complete set of drum mics, instrument mics for guitar amps,
high quality handheld vocal mikes and a handful of direct line boxes.
LIGHTS - Focusable front lighting. Kindred will supply basic lighting and follow spot
system.
POWER - Clean, easily accessible, and reliable electricity. Enough
circuits so that the sound, lights, and instruments are all safely on
different circuits.
TRANSPORTATION %u2013 When flying, make sure that someone is there for
pick up at the airport with a vehicle that is large enough to handle artist
and crew, their luggage, and their equipment.
CONCERT MANAGEMENT - Upon the artists' arrival until the very last minute of
the event there should be a concert manager, someone who knows everything
about the event and who is available at all times to show the artist around, answer
any questions, and help solve problems.
MERCHANDISE - Please provide two 6' tables and chairs in the concert area's
lobby entrance for merchandise. Please also provide two responsible volunteers to
operate the selling of product. No concession fees or percentages will be paid to
the promoter or venue without prior written consent of the band manager.
LODGING - A quality hotel is requested unless other arrangements have
been made. Payment for the rooms should be made in advance
and confirmation information should be provided to us before our arrival.
MEALS %u2013 Meals will be paid for by band members. Plenty of room temperature bottled
water should be available at the show and provided by client.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
We perform the set list preferred by the client. Our set list ranges from Christian Rock to Praise and Worship.
