Rubber Chicken is a 100% clean improvisational comedy troupe that is appropriate for all ages. This highly interactive shows relies on audience suggestions to fuel the comedy. Started in 1991, Rubber Chicken has performed for hundreds of schools, businesses and other public and private organizations and functions with great success. Kidprov is unique in that it can adapt your theme or message to their performance...or just do a straight-ahead comedy show. Shows usually last an hour to an hour and a half.

Audience members should expect a highly interactive performance where the audience supplies the suggestions that fuel what happens on stage. From time to time, volunteers are pulled from the audience to be part of the show. Since improv is so unpredictable, the audience never knows what might happen and the cool thing about it, neither do the actors!
Formed in 1991, Rubber Chicken (FKA Kidprov) is a 100% clean improv comedy troupe that is appropriate for all ages. Rubber Chicken entertains audiences with an energetic and highly interactive performance guaranteed to deliver the laughs.
History
Initially, Kidprov was created to fulfill the need for a highly entertaining and educational program for schools, Kidprov created a number of improvised comedy shows that focused on specific curricular areas including math, language arts, creativity and character education. As time went on, Kidprov rebranded as Rubber Chicken to expand into other ventures beyond educational venues.
We prefer a stage (depending on the size of the audience) at least 10' by 8'. We can supply its own sound system. Lighting can be very basic.
The set list for an improv show is a series of improv games. There are many games to choose from and we will create a set list that will meet the needs of the specific audience based on age, thematic structure or duration of the show. Flexibility is the key here.
