Why hire John Monahan?
My name is John I am a Marine.I have had many trials and tribulations in my life. and I want to pass on my story and help people not make the same mistake. Durning my presantation I will make you laugh, I will make you cry, and I will make you mad. I am a recovering alcoholic. I have been clean and sober for six years and it was due to family of wife and 3 kids that im still alive and able to speak to you. I am very passionate about my story and have been told many times that people cant get enough it. I did a presentation on alcohol in January and I still to this day have people telling how great it was. I am looking forward to our endevors together and I cant wait to add you to my history
About
Good day my name is SSgt John P. Monahan. I am a United States Marine. My passion in life is to be able to get in front of people and tell a great story about my trials and tribulations in life. I want to explain how adversity never got me down I just had to fight harder. Just a little about me I am 37 years old, I have a wife and 3 awesome kids. I am a recovering alcoholic and been clean and sober for 6 years. I quit drinking so I could remember the time with my family and not be that guy that sits of to the side of his family. I have been in the Marine Corps for 15 years. I am and infantryman so I have been there done that a lot. I have been around the world multiple times. I have to places like Italy, Spain, Japan, and of course the big two, Iraq and Afghanistan. I have been to Iraq 3 times, once for the push to Baghdad, the take over for Fallujah in November 2004 and then for the retrograde in 2009. I have been to Afghanistan just once in 2010 in the Helmand province. I have also been a recruiter and that is when I first realized I like to speak and I’m good it. I feel I have a great story that people should. I am starting my own public speaking business . I am in the Oceanside area but i will travel to you the customer.

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 45 - 90 minutes
The audience is going to experience a wide range of emotions. They will be happy and laugh, they will be sad and cry, and they will be mad and get angry. With all these ranges of emotions they will walk away with a new veiw of life. The experience for me will be the exposer to new people and start a good network by word of mouth.
