Thank you for viewing my Promo Kit. I'm Jeff Davis, and I invite you to take a moment and review my credentials and audio sample.

I have over 30 years experience in the music entertainment and radio broadcast industries. Since 1975, I have been an on-air performer at many highly rated Metropolitan Washington DC radio stations such as WPGC, Q-107, Z-104, WAVA and WMZQ. During my career as an on-air personality, I have hosted hundreds of live performances and remote broadcast events in and around the DC area. Events such as the March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon at the Washington Monument Sylvan Theatre, the Great Rambling Raft Race at West Potomac Park, and the final Beach Boys 4th of July concert on the Washington Monument Grounds. I have a vast music library, including thousands of song titles, researched from the Billboard Top 100 lists by year.

My musical experience includes Top 40, Solid Gold, Country, favorites from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and Dance music, as well as an extensive Big Band library. I always welcome your song requests, and will include any song lists you provide to play the music you want. Just as important, I will not play any songs or artists you request I not play.

I primarily use a PC-based sound system, which allows me to catalog and inventory thousands of songs, making it possible to quickly take song requests using the search function of the software. The software I use is the same software used by many radio stations, allowing a seamless transition from song to song without any silence between songs to keep your party going! I also have the "old fashioned" CDs and vinyl 45s for those special events such as sock hops and "beach" parties.

Of course, the most important event is the one you are planning, whether it is a casual get-together, corporate event, or a formal wedding reception where my experience and professional ability to coordinate the events and announcements makes your party a memorable one. My performance can be as personality-oriented as you like, or laid-back if it's just the music you want to hear.

I am not a DJ agency, and I don't subcontract any work to other DJs. I am an individual performer, and when you and I discuss the details of your party, you can be confident that it will be me that shows up to perform. I always dress appropriately for your event, arrive on time, play what you ask me to play, and I don't play music that is offensive in nature in terms of lyrics or other content.

What to Expect

With over 30 years experience, my performance is based on your specific needs and requirements, whch are usually determined by the event. Whether you are planning a structured event such as a corporate grand opening, a wedding reception that requires announcements and interaction with a wedding coordinator, or an informal private party, I have the experience required to meet the situation. My delivery can be as background entertainment, or as a high-energy party motivator.

Equally important is the knowledge that I understand that each party or event is unique, and that the music level and selection is always appropriate for the event. Obviously, my most important consideration is your satisfaction with my performance at your event!

Additional Notes:
I do not need any special considerations, only access to a standard electrical outlet in the vicinity of the performance area.
