Lorra Brown is a woman with a purpose and a mission. That mission is to motivate women to become financially empowered, connect, educate and inspire women in business to be all that they can be and to go to the next level. Lorra has worked with several women whom have relied on her fathers and husbands, to manage their money. Devastating financial crisis became a personal wake-up call for them.
Her journey to helping others gain financial independence mixed with her personal story is inspiring. She began by interviewing financially savvy women from diverse backgrounds. She discovered a surprising series of insights that all these women shared–insights that enabled them to be ‘smart’ with their money. Those insights turned her life around, and have become the core of her mission.
Once Lorra had completed her research and was once again financially secure, she decided to take this process to the next level. It was time to focus on women in business and their personal finances. But rather than concentrate on the negative, she turned her attention to help women turn it around by working with several nonprofit agencies. Lorra interviewed several women who have become successful. Her goal: to find out how they did it, if others could too, and how to avoid the pitfalls along the way. Lorra not only uncovered the secrets that enabled these women to become so financially successful, but personally proved her theory, that others could do it too, was true. For the first time in her life, she became a six-figure woman. For the past three years she has been giving workshops, and equipping women with a plan. These workshops are based on the result of women who had been through these workshops and successfully achieved higher earnings or have become financially sound.
Lorra’s background in business, her Master’s Degree in business, her extensive research, and her personal experience with money give her a unique perspective and make her the foremost expert on women’s financial issues. She is an accomplished motivational speaker and business consultant who empower women (and men) to live up to their financial and personal potential.
