I am a solo musician who plays steel drum, guitar, and sings to background tracks. I do my own recording. As a master percussionist, my tracks have more of a "live" feel than most. My sound is derived from the rhythms of Brasil, Africa, Cuba, and the Caribbean. My set list includes originals, standards, and Motown hits arranged in Samba, Bossa Nova, Reggae, Soca, Calypso, and Salsa styles. An association with Santana inspired me to play electric guitar, and I include his hits; and of course I do Buffett. My setup includes a full percussion kit, where I add fills and drum solos. I have 30 years experience, and am comfortable as background music; but I have no trouble making the crowd dance.

Mr. Epps is fantastic!

Festival Mr. Epps came to perform at Sawyer Road Elementary's International Night back in October and he was wonderful! Not only was he very easy to work with but the children at the school were mesmerized by his performance! We would absolutely love to have Mr. Epps come back to our school again!

Very talented and entertaining!

I've had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Epps on several different occasions, including multiple church services and as dinner entertainment at a well-known restaurant in Raleigh, North Carolina (the date I've selected is an approximation of when I last had the honor of dancing to his complex rhythms). His style is fresh, versatile, and spirited. I've heard him play music that compelled you to get up and dance, as well as very soothing and relaxing styles. He seems to be very good at reading his audience, and he appears to have a repertoire to suit any occasion. You will not be sorry to book this entertainer!
