Bringing you the best in hot jazz, Dixieland, & swing from the 20's, 30's & 40's and funky New Orleans Mardi Gras music. We're a versatile band from hard driving Dixieland, to classic ballads, to the sound of a New Orleans brass band, to happy sing-a longs, all the while keeping you entertained. We're normally a 7 piece ensemble featuring several vocalists in addtion to playing trombone, trumpet, clarinet, keyboard, guitar & drums, with doubles on banjo, tuba, saxophone, & euphonium, & a dynamic female vocalist! The Taters will bring toe tappin', finger snappin' excitment to any event you my have!

This talented six-musician brass band was the perfect way to celebrate our daughter's tremendous academic achievement in this pandemic year. Dressed their Mardi Gras costumes they played well known upbeat happy selections for our small and enthusiastic group outdoors on a sidewalk in Philly. There was dancing in the streets.

We hired Hot Taters to perform at an outdoor event just in advance of Veterans Day so we wanted patriotic themed music. Hot Taters did that and more. If you’re looking for an upbeat, engaging group then Hot Taters is the group for you AND they incorporated patriotic clothing as well. It was a hoot!

About
The core of the band started as another group in late 2008. In June 2009, it morphed into the Hot Taters. Since then we've played weddings, dances, Trenton's Arts Festival, Princeton's Communiversaty Day, wineries, farmer's markets, & other private affairs. The band consists of musicians who have played with Grover Washinton,Jr, Gene Krupa, Sister Sledge, Bobby Rydell, Tony Bennett, the Temptations & the Glen Miller Orchestra, to name a few. With muti-instrumentalists, & varied singers we keep the event moving with happy, enthusiastic playing of songs of the 20's, 30's, 40's, & the Mardi Gras! We also have a dynamic female vocalist available. We're available for any type of event you may have. Thanks for reading.
