Honorable Voices of Praise

About

The Honorable Voices of Praise, affectionately known as HVOP, was born out of the Open Air Faith Festival house band. In 2008, the Open Air Faith Festival (OAFF) was an event produced by the Ft. Belvoir Staff Chaplains Directorate. This event hosted national recording artists Martha Munizzi, Mary Alessi, SONICFLOOd, Bishop Bruce Parham, Jason Crabb, and regional artists Fred McKinnon, Antonia Lawrence and jazz flutist Trey Eley.

The house band was once again used in suppoort of the 2009 OAFF event featuring Dottie Peoples, Jonathan Nelson and Troy Sneed.

After a year hiatus for restructuring, the decision was made to bring the house band from the background into the forefront and HVOP was born. HVOP opened up the 2011 OAFF event and has been diligently performing around the MDW (Military District of Washington DC). As the official outreach arm for OAFF, HVOP is helping to spread God's word through praise and worship.

The Open Air Faith Festival (OAFF) is an organization that brings Christian artists and entertainment to the military and their family members. This 100% donation and volunteer based organization's mission is to honor God, our country, our service members and their families. Through individual and corporate donations as well as through the booking of HVOP, funds are raised to support the spiritual growth of our military.
