Yes, High Definition plays weddings & parties. But, we are not your typical wedding band! High Definition is an eight member band comprised of grammy nominated, studio caliber, national touring, music school/college trained, enthusiastic musicians. Yes, we can play all the dance favorites plus 100's of others. The key is entertaining, wowing the audience! Members of High Definition have the experience of performing at many national venues were being entertaining and talented is the criteria. When people hire HDB, they can't believe that they will have a the talents of Bob Father and Nadine Toma singing at their party or reception. And for far less money than the other bands.

Best Wedding Band Ever!

High Definition played at our daughter and son-in-law's cocktail hour and wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza Golf House in Lake Placid on October 29, 2011. To say they were amazing is an understatement - they had the dance floor over-flowing for the entire evening. Guests were even dancing between dinner courses. They played continuously except for one very short break to eat! I strongly recommend booking High Definition for your next party! We certainly would!

Thanks for checking us out. The question is: How good is this band? Why should I/we hire them? We could tell you we are great, but that wouldn't be meaningful.

High Definition is an eight piece versatile dance and party band. We have six lead vocalists(male and female), 2 trumpets, sax, guitar, keyboards, percussion, and bass, and we perform everything from Sinatra to Shania to the Black Eyed Peas.

Cooperstown, Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady, Lake Placid, Lake George, Plattsburgh, Connecticut, New York City, Massachusettes and Vermont are just some of the places we've traveled.

Our best advertising is our live performance and music. The combination of our talents and price have made High Definition a popular choice for weddings, parties and special events.

Our influences cover a wide range of musical styles. We play everything from Jazz Classics, Country, Pop, R & B, Disco, Swing, Reggae, Rock, Big Band and Motown.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 120 - 240 minutes

Our show / performance is geared to cater to the Bride & Grooms wants / dreams. We will take only 1 break for dinner during a wedding reception. We will play all dance tunes, unless otherwise requested. We cater our song list to appeal to all age groups. We will keep everyone dancing , singing and partying!

Our show will feature one of the best vocal groups you can find anywhere. We also have a dynamic horn section and a tight, polished energetic rhythm section.

What is also very important is our stage volume. We are committed to keeping the volume at a enjoyable level for all. Bands and DJ's, most of the time bring large PA systems with sub woofers. We have the best PA system we could find, no subwoofers are needed. This is an important factor in volume control. We guarantee that our volume will be just right.

We are committed to providing the highest level of service possible. We bring enthusiasm, energy and FUN to each and every High Definition performance.

High Definition Band

Stage/Setup Requirements:
An area 15' by 10' is preferred. We need 2 independent electrical outlets.

Additional Notes:
We provide stage and dance floor lighting. We simply would need two individual / independent outlets to power everything. We usually can somehow fit into any staging area. 15' by 10' is sufficient. We also feature an integrated DJ system in our state-of-the-art PA system. We also have a wireless microphone for announcements, toasts, blessings, etc.
