Kelly Montfort- I've been singing since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. Started performing at my family events, then school events/shows. Later, performed paying solo gigs around the greater Central Texas area from Waco to Lampasas. (i.e. weddings, birthdays, family reunions, etc.) 2006, toured with The Muddcatts performing a Buddy Holly Tribute. 2007-2008 hired by Granbury Live, for a '50s show. Went back to solo gigs. 2011, lead vocalist for Rewind Party Band (70's & 80's music). Left the band due to the birth of my new child. Now, I have put together my own band, Heart of Texas Troubadours.

We like to keep things simple and fun. If you enjoy the 2 step, waltz, western swing, the twist, or classic rockin', we're the group for your next event.

From classic to outlaw and modern country, and blending in some oldies rock-n-roll and classic rock, and others. From Hank Williams Sr. to Waylon Jennings and Brooks and Dunn, blending in some Chuck Berry and Eagles, and many others.

"the good old days of country." The days of Jimmie Rodgers, Bob Wills, Hank Williams Sr., Marty Robbins, Lefty Frizzell, Ray Price, Faron Young, Ernest Tubb, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Charley Pride, Freddie Fender, and many others.

"bringing it closer to new country." We blend in some slighlty newer country music. Such as, George Strait, Clint Black, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakum, Tracy Lawrence, John Anderson, Brooks and Dunn, and many others who came on the scene, later, in country music.

"Just to give it some flavor." A little mix of other genres and artists like, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Wilson Pickett, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Everly Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Eagles, CCR, Bad Company, Eric Clapton, Moody Blues, Prince and many more.
