About

My name is Jamison Douglas and Dougy's Twisting began as a hobby of mine. I learned how to twist a few balloons for fun such as the typical dog and poodle like everyone does. The next thing I knew I am making a two balloon dog, a turtle that looks amazing and even a hat that looks like a giraffe. I realized that I really enjoyed seeing the looks on my son's face when I made him balloons. Over time I learned more and more things that I could make. It was addicting there is so much to learn and so many cool things you can create while at the same time making your children's faces light up. I decided then that I should share what I could do and I started Dougy's Twisting. I enjoy showing the kids my balloon animals and the looks on their faces when the balloon I am working on pops right in front of my face as I am twisting it and their reaction to what I say or do. I can finally say I enjoy what I do.

Influences

Many many balloon artists have inspired the balloons that I twist. I have watched dozens of DVD's and hundreds of videos showing all sorts of techniques. I have been able to take pieces of each of those and incorporate them into what I can be happy to make. If I am not happy with the way something looks I will not hand it out or I will make them another one as well.

What to Expect

I twist balloons into all sorts of shapes sizes and likenesses. I carry over 30 colors of balloons and over 20 shapes and sizes of balloons. You may recieve a hat, bracelet, wings for your back or a motorcycle to look at and admire if you are in a line that ends with me twisting you a balloon. If you see me at a birthday party you may laugh to see me snap myself with a balloon or tie my finger into the knot. You might think it hilarious if I have to make things as a precaution before making something else. I strive to make every experience a great experience, I do not make a simple 3 twist one balloon dog or a typical one balloon giraffe that many of you have seen. I can draw a crowd and I will make any birthday party a memorable one.

Additional Notes:
I can be in one place for people to find me or I can be mobile and search those people out. I can perform inside or outside as long as it is not too hot or cold outside, balloons can be picky in extreme temps.
