Being a gal on a tight budget, I shopped around ALOT before selecting Desso Photography and couldn't have been happier with his services. We had a non-traditional outdoor ceremony and reception at the Center for Southern Folklore. Mr. Desso has an artistic eye and a charming presence. He captured our engagement, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception beautifully and affordably. Mr. Desso is very accomodating to the clients' schedule and preferences. He was even able to get my contact lens back in my eye in a pinch! We were able to view our edited pictures very quickly and were given the rights to the proofs. I highly recommend.

We were desperate to find a photographer fast for our newborn shoot, after another had canceled. David was very flexible with his time and sensitive to our schedule with our baby. He made sure we got all the shots we wanted, yet kept our session brief. We were very pleased with his professional and personal qualities! About
Old friends will recall a nerd that always had a small camera in his pocket, even at school. 10 years or so later, nothing has changed is except the cameras, they have gotten bigger and better. I started out with a little 2.1 megapixel Canon Elf and I am now up to 21 megapixels. Although I have always been a nature photographer, and I have always enjoyed people, it wasn't until my own wedding that I realized how fun it would be to be a PEOPLE photographer. It is an exciting opportunity to preserve a special day through my lens and a challenge to capture memories as they unfold. As a wedding photographer, it is my goal to remain mostly unseen, as a silent, but active, documentarian. I do much more than weddings. My nature photography roots still have me longing for my work to grace the pages of National Geographic. The more practical side of me lives in the studio working on the perfect balance of light and shadow for portraits, headshots, and various other creations.
