About

My name is Dabadooya. I have been twisting "professionally" for almost 2 years. I do NOT wear a clown costume, nor do I have a painted face. I wear a sparkly top hat, a dress shirt, tie and vest. I am very approachable and professional, yet silly when the moment is right. I have trained under 3 professional clowns, and have continued my education by taking classes and attending workshops.

I have worked with and performed for children since I was 8. I have experience relating to kids of ALL ages, including children who have special needs. I have a natural ability for making people feel comfortable, even bringing excessively shy children out of their shells. I twist at a variety of venues: birthday parties, street fairs, grand openings, baby showers, wedding receptions, school carnivals, company picnics & MORE!

My FAVORITE job is performing at BIRTHDAY PARTIES for "kids" ages 1-111, but I also enjoy entertaining at:
Baby Showers ~ Bridal Showers ~ School Carnivals ~ Company Picnics ~ Grand Openings ~ Community Events ~ Quinceaneras ~ Business Boosters ~ Family Reunions ~ Fundraiser Events ~ Wedding Receptions (for children and guests while waiting for the wedding party to arrive)

If entertaining at an event with a guest of honor, I arrive with a unique twisted creation for the guest of honor. This creation is usually designed around the theme of the event.

I am located in Beloit, Wisconsin, but have traveled as far North as Appleton, WI and as far South as Sheridan, IL. Some travel fees MAY apply. I offer discounts on travel fees and hourly rates for multiple hours booked. Dabadooya and Company will also offer discounts for multiple bookings (ex: balloon twisting and face painting, or balloon twisting and glitter art, or balloon decorations as well as twisting)

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 480 minutes

I entertain in one of two ways. I can "perform" in front of a crowd (any size) and tell jokes and stories while everyone is watching me. I involve SOME audience members as helpers.

OR (and this one is my preference)
I can be an "attraction" at your event. For example at a birthday party, children/people will form a line and ask for "something" they desire to be made into balloons. I prefer this method because I get to interact with each person 1-to-1. I engage them in conversation, joke around & make them feel special. They get to watch their favorite thing come to life in balloons, up close and personal.

nothing needed

Additional Notes:
If twisting, I need about 3-5 feet of "twisting" room, and an area for people to form a line. Nothing more :)

Facepainting requires approximately a 4 ft area, everything else is provided by us :)

Set/Song/Sequence List:
BIRTHDAY PARTY RATES:
Balloon twisting alone: $75.00 per hour.
~ This accommodates 15-18 people
~ Includes a special more intricate sculpture for the guest of honor.
Face Painting alone: $75.00 per hour.
~ This accommodates 12-15 full faces or 16-18 smaller designs
Glitter Art alone: $75.00 per hour.
~ Accommodating 15-20 waterproof glitter tattoos which last approximately 5 days.
** Booking any two of the above together: $125.00 per hour
*** Booking all three artists: $175.00 per hour


FAIRS and COMMUNITY EVENT RATES:
Balloon twisting alone: $75.00 per hour.
~ This accommodates 25-30 people per hour with 1-2 balloon creations
~ (swords, dogs, cats, butterfly, etc...)
Face Painting alone: $75.00 per hour.
~ This accommodates 20-25 people with cheek art designs
Glitter Art alone: $75.00 per hour.
~ Accommodating 15-20 waterproof glitter tattoos which last approximately 5 days.
**Contact us to get rates for multiple hours, and discounts for booking multiple artists.

TRAVEL FEES:
If travel distance is greater than 30 minutes one way, there will be a fee for the additional travel time
If travel distance is greater than 60 minutes, there is a minimum booking of 2 hours.
