Lively, classy, EXACTLY what we wanted!!!
I am a musician myself so hiring a band was a big deal for me. CBL totally rocked my wedding; they are a hugely talented group of musicians. They play every kind of music you could hope for; they are classy but totally fun and their energy will get everyone on their feet. I would definitely recommend this band for any event.

CoolBandLuke is a band of professional musicians with one mission: To make your event memorable and fun. We play favorite songs from every era and genre, from today's biggest Top 40 hits to 70s disco, to 80s and 90s favorites, to classic rock and hip hop. Most of our clients come as referrals from word of mouth, or as repeat customers. This is because CoolBandLuke delivers on every front: We are fun, professional, reliable, interactive, thoughtful, and talented. We will do whatever it takes to accomplish our goal of making your event fabulous, fun, and memorable. Our song medleys and mash-ups are unpredictable and totally unique, and really add to the entertainment and energy of the night. No one delivers music quite like CoolBandLuke!
CoolBandLuke is comprised of two energetic frontwomen/lead vocalists, backed by electric guitar(s), bass, drums, and keys/piano. CoolBandLuke can add horns, strings -- and even ukulele -- to deliver you the musical sounds you crave.
Our band leader and lead vocalist, Laura Roppe, will be your pre-event liaison with the band. Laura is is organized, reliable, and enthusiastic, and she is also a Billboard-charting singer-songwriter and published author (of Rocking the Pink, Laura's music and cancer memoir). At the show, Laura and her co-frontwoman, Taylin Rae, are non-stop energy and effusive joy. The rest of the band -- Rob, Albert, Jon, Chris -- will truly impress you, too. We aim to please!

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 80 - 240 minutes

Expect to dance, laugh and sing along! And our song medleys and mash-ups are unpredictable, funny, and totally entertaining. You will not find another party band quite like CoolBandLuke!

Additional Notes:
CoolBandLuke will provide sound and lighting equipment. Client to provide raised stage, if desired. We ask that the client provide food and water for the band, and a place to rest before the show, if possible.
