About

The Bristol Band started as a youth band from Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola Florida. Having years of experience playing together helped them develop a great communication on stage and a like-mindedness in style and sound. As they grew and developed as musicians, their passion for music and worship grew and they began playing together for jam sessions and various events outside of the weekly youth group meetings. Their goal is to share the gospel through music and make the name of Christ known in a fresh way. Their great passion and absolute love of playing drives them to want to spread their message and show the world who Christ is and how he can change lives through worship.
Their sound is inspired greatly by groups such as Hillsong United, David Crowder, and Shane and Shane.

Influences

We all came out of youth group bands while growing up at our church, and some of us have recorded albums for schools like the University of Mobile's exit 13. Music has always been our passion, and something we enjoy doing very much. We have had great opportunities to get to know and play with great musicians and producers including Robert Gilliard, the current keyboardist for Sonic Flood, and Dave Sans, their current tour manager.

What to Expect

We are primarily a worship band. We do many popular worship songs as well as some that we have written. We strive to bring an atmosphere that encourages the audience to connect with God and praise him. We have a passion for worshiping Him through music and it's that passion that we want to convey to our audience so they may be encouraged and God may be glorified.

Additional Notes:
We prefer to bring our in ear monitors and run a click track while we play. We would hook these into the aux outputs of the house sound board. Any information about the house sound system we can get will be extremely helpful so we can know exactly what equipment we need to bring.
