I started Djing while I was still attending High School. I was around 14. It was 3 of us that Dj around my small town, mainly doing school dances, house parties and maybe a wedding or two from time to time.
After I went to The University of Oklahoma, I pretty much gave up on Djing as a hobby, until 1993. When a good friend asked me to fill in for him at a Christmas event he had over booked. Reluctantly said yes....After That Bring That Beat Back was born...
I transition away from the Turntables and Cassette players and now use the modern technology of Laptops, Dj Software and high Tech Cd players, but I still produce the vibe of yesteryear, I still make the party bounce and I still can make you work up a sweat....
The only thing that has changed with Bring That Beat Back is the equipment we now use. We still have that old school style with a New School taste...AHHHHHH Yeah ain't nothin but a potty baby!!!!

Influences

What influenced me into becoming a DJ and eventually starting my own business was the fact I could not dance as a kid. However I always loved music. so by not being the greatest dancer I became a DJ, I soon realized I had a talent and a style that made people get on the dance and not want to get off, I enlsited the styles of Grand Master Flash, Run D.M.C and added a little flair of my own...Then Next thing I knew I was being Booked every where.

Bring That Beat Back uses various types of lighting Depending on the event, Parties we use our sound activated lighting and our laser, for wedding we use various combination. Sound Activated Lighting for the Reception and Multi-Colored uplighting for other parts of the Wedding/Reception....The Uplighting adds elegance and Sophistication to an event, while the Sound Activated pulsating to the Beat provides the excitement.

Weddings are the same in name, but unique in performance. Just like parties, sweet Sixteen differs from the Prom. So I let my client dictate my performance list...
