Vocalist Kay Andreas (Kostopoulos)is also a professional actress and director who teaches in the Drama Department and Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Kay has performed at poetry readings, corporate events, auctions, benefits and concerts. She sings in English, Spanish, French, and Italian, and plays percussion and finger cymbals. An elegant singer whose voice is inspired by the golden age of jazz, Kay pays homage to the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee and Anita O’Day.

Performing classic songs from enduring masters of the art form, such as Duke Ellington, the Gershwins, Rodgers and Hart, Harold Arlen, Cole Porter; and songwriters from Europe and Latin America-- Black Olive Jazz brings these two traditions together with an all-star ensemble of San Francisco jazz artists.
