About
Bev is a best selling author and speaker who has travelled the world with her message of love. Her first book is called 'Hang On To Your Hormones'. She also wrote a book on creative dating and her latest book is called 'How To Find Authentic Love'. Bev uses her training in counselling and her own personal experiences to help others make informed choices about relationships.
SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES - Bev travels the country speaking in schools about healthy relationships and matters of the heart. She talks to grade 8's about 'Preparing for High School' and gives simple strategies on how to stay away from sex, alcohol or drugs and protecting their dreams and their future.
BANQUETS - Bev speaks at banquets across Canada and the US motivating audiences to higher ground. She has spoken at fundraisers for Pregnancy Support Centres, Single Adult Groups, Women's Groups, Mother & Daughter Banquets as well as Pro-life groups in North America and abroad.
RETREATS - Schools and church youth groups invite Bev to conduct retreats with the purpose of helping them in the area of healthy relationships. She shares her story, uses video clips, music, interactive games, work groups, humour and handouts customized to the group. Bev is willing to take charge of the entire day or weekend and work within the guidelines as presented by the host.
CONFERENCES - Bev is well able to address crowds of any size. Her average size conference is 500 and her largest audience was 25,000 people in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
WORKSHOPS - Requests to do workshops for parents of children aged 12-20 especially in understanding youth and the digital age. Bev helps parents, counsellors and youth workers stay connected to the generation that spends hours on their phone from texting to sexting to cyber bullying. Attendees will learn successful strategies to stay informed, stay connected and not be intimidated by modern technology. She has taken in 34 teenagers into her home(five at one time maximum) who needed loving support for a short or very long period of time with no government assistance.
EMCEE - Bev is very comfortable behind a mike and is able to keep an event moving within time constraints, fill in any gaps left by surprises, make guests feel comfortable and knows how to be the mortar that keeps the bricks together.
CHURCHES - After a powerful encounter with God 9 weeks before she was to be married Bev has been a follower of Jesus the Messiah since Oct. 13, 1981. Her fiance would not marry her because of her new faith and thus started the journey of celibacy, healing for Post Abortion Syndrome and a deeper healing of a bruised and battered heart. She shares her powerful testimony of what God is doing in her life and has done in her life. Bev is able to speak to all denonminations and work within each church's style of worship, praying and healing. Bev's has a special annointing of praying for the broken hearted.
YOUTH GROUPS - Bev is able to share her own journey of sexual choices and consequences that she faced until she became of follower of Jesus and started a life of celibacy until she married five and a half years ago.
