About
Buddy Jackson, owner of Amped Entertainment, started off meddling with his passion for music at home as a hobby. Influenced by a wide variety of music genres, music has always had a great influence on his life. He taught himself how to edit music and make custom mixes that he used to entertain friends and family at private parties.
After gaining confidence in his entertaining abilities, he began to DJ for a local club in Palestine, Texas. After a short while, he then began to work as a mobile DJ for Casey Brown from CMB Music Productions. After the taste of a full-fledged crowd compared to friends and family or the club scene, Buddy was hooked. He quickly began to find out that with his seasoned knowledge of music, providing the right type of music for the right event came naturally.
Not long after entering the mobile DJ scene, Buddy found another passion that involved music in his life. That passion is radio. For 6 long years, Buddy has been working in the radio business on various shifts ranging from nights to mornings to middays and various genres which include: country, classic country, oldies, and news talk.
Today, Buddy can be found wandering around the halls of KYYK 98.3. No one knows what he really does there, but we hear that he is great at cleaning toilets. Oh, and he has also been known to produce a commercial or two. You canlisten to him weekdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
